Hello,
Summer is heating up and, apparently, so is the cost of just about everything.
Forbes Advisor surveyed 2,000 Americans about their summer vacation plans, and more than half (54%) say the increased cost of trips is affecting their decisions.
Regardless if you want to travel across the globe or save money by staying close to home on (yet another) staycation, taking time away to relax and unplug is vital to your health and wellbeing. You’ve banked your time off, so use it!
Author Anne Lamont said it best: “Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.”
And isn’t it nice to know that even when you are unplugged, Malvern Bank is working hard for you to help make your money go further? For example, we are offering a unique, six-month, introductory fixed rate of 2.25% on a Home Equity Line of Credit. Repayment during that period is interest only. There is no annual fee, and the closing fee is just $150. For more information, contact Georgette Krick, Malvern’s Senior Vice President of Retail Banking, at GKrick@MyMalvernBank.com.
The following articles include some helpful tips on how to keep expenses cool this summer when inflation is running hot, along with more info you might find interesting from the world of finance this week. Enjoy!
Sincerely,
Anthony C. Weagley
