"April is the cruelest month” declared T.S. Eliot in the opening of his poem The Wasteland, which was first published 100 years ago in 1922.
With tax deadlines rapidly approaching, ongoing war in Ukraine, and the highest inflation in decades, Eliot’s lament for this first full month of spring may have particular resonance for you this year.
