Money Matters: Money doesn't grow on trees

June 18, 2021

Hello,

Fathers are famous for coming up with great one-liners like these and many others over the years. I'm sure you've got your favorite father figure saying as well. Share it - I'd love to hear it.

For as much as we poke fun at the things father figures say, they are often the first person people turn to for financial advice. Their wise words can play a large role in shaping our habits and attitudes towards money - so much so that the "dad voice" can continue well into our adult lives.

From budgeting to working hard as well as to increasing your earning power, savings, and investing wisely - the father figures in our lives have a lot to teach us about life and money. With Father's Day coming up this weekend, it's a good time to reflect on the positive ways fathers in our lives have influenced us. Give the father figures you know a big "thank you" this Sunday. Or you could pass along one of these articles as a return in kind for the wisdom and support.

If you're looking for sound, practical advice, and guidance on your current investment situation, I encourage you to contact Sally Lawson, Malvern Bank's Senior Investment Advisor, at 610.695.3651. Sally can help you make wise decisions about your money.

As your father might have said: "Don't spend it all in one place."

Sincerely,

Anthony C. Weagley
